Stunt Ride 2009 Romania - World Championship

On this occasion Urban Moto invite interested in being present to see one of the most spectacular events of Motor with many participants from Romania, France, USA, Hungary, Canada, Latvia, Poland, England etc.

The contest will take place in Bucharest on RomExpo, location is large enough for organizing such an event. We will try in the following to inform you about all that you need as a competitor.

The organizer of the event to ensure each contestant a number of 3 places of accommodation and meals during the competition, but there is also possibility to reserve additional seats for other people, in this case that will be attended by more than 3 persons.

Regarding the accommodation and catering, it's good to know that these services will be offered by 3 star hotels, which meet E.U. standards.

Awards are provided by the organizer in cash and have the following values

1^st place - 6,000 euro
2^nd place - 4,000 euro
3^rd place - 2,000 euro

4^th place - 1,500 euro
5^th place - 1,000 euro
6^th place - 800 euro
7^th place - 600 euro
8^th place - 400 euro
9^th place - 200 euro

The organizer also provides training space for competitors, if they wish to come one or two days earlier. All this time the organizers ensure the accommodation and meals during the training days.

The Championship will take place after the following rules:
competitors can join regardless of nationality and represent the country they wish to represent, minimum age being over 16^th years old;
we do not accept competitors, to this Championship Competition, of those who own a motorcycle less than 600cmc, scooters, quads or ATV's;
all competitors participate in the championship on their own initiative and before the competition they will sign a statement that they take full responsibility for everything that happens through this event;
all competitors will receive a contestants number which will be required to be displayed on their bikes during the championship;
the jury will be composed by 5 judges, and in case of a divergent, we will only take into consideration the opinion of the president of the jury which will be designated in advance;
one of the judges will make the start and the finish point with a pennant and also he will time the evolution of each competitor separately;
all contestants are obliged to wear protective equipment: helmet, gloves, knees and elbows protection, spine protections, all these are mandatory;
the competitor is the only person who is responsible for his bike, if the bike it's ready or not to be used during the competition and also if it corresponds to what he proposed on doing;
sll the competitors are responsible for the integrity of the bike, the organizer has no obligation to the competitor motorcycle;
the use of flammable materials or pyrotechnic materials which could affect the integrity of the track is prohibited, if the competitor needs such materials for his act, the competitor must require prior approval of the organizer;
during the contest the organizer will ensure that all competitors can show their act in maximum security;
the contestant is not obliged to ensure their bike, therefore the insurance is not mandatory, also the insurance of the equipment remains at the discretion of each competitor, the contestant chooses whether he wants or does not want to ensure their bike or equipment;
in cases of force majeure, natural disasters, rainfalls and so on, the contest may be postponed for a day or delayed for a bigger amount of days without the organizer to be obliged to indemnify any competitor;
throughout the contest the organizer will provide with emergency medical assistance, firefighters and ambulances with medical emergency team.

The competition will take place on the following steps

1. Position at start
The first step is the extraction of the contestants, in order to set the positions that they will occupy at start of the competition.

2. Qualifications
are requiring the following tests: riding on a wheel (rear) [wheelie] with slow drift in a circle around a spindle, riding on the front wheel [endo]. The points gained in the preliminary will be taken trough all the qualifications.

3. Preliminaries
Each competitor has 4 minutes of free riding. In this trial the order of the start will be depending on the number of points accumulated in qualifying starting from the last to the first. From the preliminary test, only 12 competitors will reach the finals.

4. Finals
each competitor will have 8 minutes of free riding
this test will start after being aware of the number of points collected in qualifications and preliminaries starting from back to front.
at the end of the contest the points gathered through the preliminary and final qualification will be gathered.

5. Scoring
In qualifications the following steps will be binding:
walking on a wheel (rear) 100 meters in a straight line. Starting will be made on the spot and execution maneuvers have to startto in maximum 5 meters. Competitor receives points depending on the length of the exercise performed that will be measured in seconds. If during exercise the crash pads, the front wheel or the bar reaches the ground, we will only clock up until to that point. Walking on the front wheel is starting with the remote after accelerating for 50 meters, followed by riding on the front wheel. Competitor gets 5 points for every 15 meters made. There will be accepted 2 tests, and the result taken in consideration will be the best result obtained;
drawing a circle with the back wheel without putting your foot down (the order to make the circles will be the first to the right then to the left). Competitor will get as many points as the number of half circles he can do in 10 seconds on the CW. Circles will be conducted around a fixed axis.

In the preliminary and finals the judges will decide according to the following:
20 points for the content of the presented exercise;
20 points for the routine;
20 points for difficulty and special exercises number submitted;
20 points for an exercise in premiere.
